Draft & Byline is for writers, editors and independent publishers who want a useful way to work with AI—not a shortcut around responsibility.
Not every problem needs a model.
We begin with the draft, the intended reader and the decision to be made. A tool belongs in the process only if its role can be named and its output checked.
A source is not a test.
Documentation describes a product. A study reports a particular experiment. A screenshot shows an interface. None alone proves that a tool will produce a good manuscript. We do not present source-based records as hands-on reviews.
Dates and limits stay attached.
The 100 retained records were prepared on 16 September 2026. Their historical dates identify events or sources, not previous publication by this site. The current design is a local review prepared 19 September 2026. We have not freshly verified every older price, policy or legal claim.
Human judgment stays visible.
There are no invented interviewees, testimonials, performance scores or model-written book reviews presented as reading experience. Draft-room examples are explicitly hypothetical editorial exercises. Source imagery awaits owner publication review.
